Über den Autor
Howard B. (Howie "Cb") Bluestein was raised in Boston and Miami Beach. He earned B. S. and M. S. degrees in electrical engineering and M. S. and Ph. D. degrees in meteorology from M.I.T. He is a Professor and George Lynn Cross Research Professor in the School of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma, Norman and a frequent visiting scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado. He uses advanced, mobile Doppler-radar systems to study severe convective storms and tornadoes. His cloud photographs have been published and exhibited in art museums worldwide.
