Different types of batteries (i.e. Alkaline and Zinc) or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Do not throw batteries into a fire. Battries should never be left in the product whent not in use for long periods of time. Non rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Battery removal and installation instructions: With a screwdriver, remove battery compartment fixing screw and lift the lid, keeping both away from children. Insert new button cell batteries (3 x LR1130) as shown in the polarity diagram (+/-) inside the battery compartment. Lower the compartment lid back onto the sound module and replace the fixing screw.
