Beschreibung
The African Origins of Civilization, Mystical Religion, and Yoga Philosophy is a large three-book set in one volume or in three separate books (ISBN: 1-884564-50-X, [...]) is a comprehensive hardback volume that compiles significant evidence linking Ancient Egyptian culture and spirituality with Indian mysticism. This work, created by Dr. Muata Abhaya Ashby, addresses the longstanding curiosity regarding the connections between these civilizations, particularly the influence of Egyptian priests who may have migrated to Greece, India, and beyond.
In this volume, Ashby expands on themes introduced in his earlier work, Egyptian Yoga: The Philosophy of Enlightenment, exploring the motifs, symbols, and philosophical correlations between Ancient Egypt and India. He argues that the mysteries of Ancient Egypt represent a foundational yoga tradition that evolved into modern Indian yoga systems. This insight reveals that African culture contributed to the development of yoga mysticism long before other civilizations.
The book asserts that yoga culture and mysticism are the oldest known traditions of spiritual development, with Indian mysticism serving as an extension of Ancient Egyptian practices. By recognizing this heritage, readers can better understand the spiritual and cultural connections between these two great traditions. Ashby emphasizes the unity of human culture through shared symbols and philosophies, arguing that they reflect a collective pursuit of truth and self-realization.
The African Origins of Western Civilization, Religion, and Ethics Philosophy dives into the esoteric teachings of Ancient Egypt, including the Book of the Dead and the enlightenment of Osiris, as well as Hermetic philosophy and the symbolic language of hieroglyphs. Ashby's work challenges conventional narratives and invites readers to explore the profound impact of Egyptian culture on Western thought.
This book is suitable for anyone interested in ancient civilizations, spirituality, and metaphysics, whether scholars or casual readers. It combines academic rigor with accessible writing, offering insights that encourage personal growth and spiritual development.
By integrating ancient teachings into modern practices, Ashby addresses issues like the misrepresentation of African history and the disconnect from ancient wisdom. His narrative serves as a transformative resource, illuminating the cultural and spiritual legacy of Ancient Egypt that continues to shape our world today.
Embark on this enlightening journey and uncover the secrets of Ancient Egypt that can transform your understanding of history, spirituality, and self. Order your copy today to unlock these profound mysteries!
