Über den Autor
PHELELISIWE DLAMINI was born and raised in Eswatini. She lived most of her adult life in Canada, where she started a family. Being so far from home and often not able to travel and spend prolonged periods of time in her home country with her children, she was not able to pass on her mother tongue. This inspired her to find a way to bridge the language gap for her children so they could converse with non-English speakers in the kingdom, and also instil a sense of pride and belonging in them. This is common to many families living away from their mother languages. After over 30 years of living abroad, she has returned to her home country where she is contributing to her community by conducting creativity workshops, meditation and spiritual retreats.
