The book describes the analysis of a rare flavor-changing neutral current process, B0¿K ¿ ¿ ¿, focusing on the higher invariant mass range of the K¿ system. The research is based on data collected by the LHCb experiment in 2016, 2017, and 2018 (Run 2), when protons collided at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV ([...] angular analysis of the final-state particles is performed using the method of moments. The main goal of the analysis is to search for so-called New Physics beyond the Standard Model.

Über den Autor
The author completed his PhD at both the Henryk Niewodniczäski Institute of Nuclear Physics PAS and the University of Ferrara. He currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Cracow University of Technology.
