John 'Lofty' Wiseman became the youngest person ever to pass selection for the SAS at the age of eighteen. He served for 26 years with the Special Air Service, setting up their Counter-Terrorist Team and was their Chief Survival Instructor. After leaving the SAS in 1985, Wiseman became a survival consultant, providing training to movie casts and civilians alike. He remains the foremost authority on SAS training techniques for civilians.
