Rogue filmmaker Robert Rodriguez (b. 1968) rocketed to fame with his ultra-low-budget film El Mariachi (1992). Zachary Ingle is visiting assistant professor of film at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. He is editor of Fan Phenomena: The Big Lebowski and coeditor (with David M. Sutera) of Identity and Myth in Sports Documentaries: Critical Essays and Gender and Genre in Sports Documentaries: Critical Essays. His work has also appeared in Literature-Film Quarterly, Post Script, Journal of Sport History, and other journals.
