If Berliners have heard of Rainer Fetting (b. Wilhelmshaven, 1949; lives and works in Berlin and Sylt), it is probably for his larger-than-life bronze statue of Willy Brandt at the Social Democratic Party's headquarters. But Fetting is actually best known for his work as a painter. This year will bring the first show at his New York gallery Albertz Benda after a hiatus of more than three decades.
