Ruchel Louis Coetzee is an accomplished author, editor, and award-winning documentary/film producer, known for her insightful interviews and lyrical brand of journalism. Her nuanced coverage of style, celebrity, health, philanthropy, and politics has earned her widespread acclaim, while her work as a producer has brought significant success to a spectrum of lifestyle and wellness companies. After immigrating to the U. S. with her family in 1994, Ruchel pulled together a diverse team of experienced and creative industry professionals to form Successful Images, an award winning, international multi-media production company with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to universities and non-profit organizations. During this period, she also produced a documentary on South Africa for the Latin Travel Channel. In 2007 she produced the movie Gringo Wedding ([...] which won several film festivals awards. In October 2009 Ruchel closed Successful Images and started her own brand RUCHEL LLC ([...] to incorporate all her talents including multi-media production, author, and film producer. From 2010 to 2017, she was appointed Editor in Chief for NEW YOU magazine, a national lifestyle and health magazine. Ruchel has interviewed celebrities such as Sean Penn, David Caruso, Dakota Fanning, Muhammad Ali, Richard Adams (Watership Down author), Walter Cronkite, the Shriver-Kennedy family, artists Botero and Romero Britto, Sharon Stone, Jenny McCarthy, Martha Stewart, Terry Bradshaw, Larry King, the Dalai Lama, Prince Albert of Monaco amongst others.From 2018 to today, Ruchel once again rebranded herself to become the Senior Director of Luxury Sales for Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
