He is a member of the British Psychoanalytic Council and the UK Council for Psychotherapy. He has run his workshop, 'Working with the Erotic Transference and Countertransference', around the UK and Europe. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters and is the editor of three significant books on the erotic transference, love and hate, and trauma.
