Über den Autor
Letina Banks has a Ph.D. in higher education, master's degree in science education from Nova Southeastern University, and bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Mobile. She is a coordinator for curriculum mapping in the Center for Academic Advising and an instructor of biology at Florida A&M University. Dr. Banks created and implemented the Advising Program for Biology at Florida A&M, an initiative which has significantly reduced student dropout rates. The program also inspired Florida A&M faculty to develop a course called Professional Development in Biology, which has increased student enrollment in the biology department and ensures students are well prepared for their academic career and beyond.
