Amy Wilding is a queer and inclusive feminist, mother, educator, and menstrual midwife. She is the founder of Period of Change, a transformative menstrual education program and rite-of-passage celebration that has supported thousands of girls and their mothers through puberty, menarche, and the reclamation of cycle literacy. For over fifteen years, Amy has guided women and girls through life's sacred thresholds - offering truth, tenderness, and tools to reweave the severed connection between women and their sacred feminine sovereignty. Her work challenges shame, dismantles silence, and reclaims menstruation as a portal of power and possibility. As the author of Wild & Wise and the founder of Red Tent Louisville, Amy's mission is to deconstruct patriarchy by helping women and girls (and all menstruators) remember the wild wisdom that is their birthright. Through ritual, story, and community, she invites a return to cyclical living, empowered embodiment, and the healing power of sisterhood. She lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her wife, Aimee, and their four young-adult kids. Amy offers individual coaching and mentorship, community collaboration, and Period of Change mother-daughter circle leadership training.
