Beschreibung
Sirin works in a normal office job, with normal, shadowy employers in a normal city that may or may not be the last one on Earth. Their apartment's a bit small and the fridge is getting a little too sentient, but the Wall around the City stands high and tall. Life is comfortable enough.

The only real problem is that all the other people keep disappearing, every now and then, when the City goes quiet and dark. Something does seem off about the mirrors, too. And sometimes, though it's probably nothing, really nothing to worry about at at all, there is the great black sphere that hangs above the scyscrapers, blotting out the sun.

It's probably fine.

A book about capitalism, and love, and the lengths we'll go to avoid having to change.

A book about glimpsing the terrifying truth of human existence and saying "no, I don't think so, perhaps not today."

A book about letting go.
