In view of the persistent problems in the current equivalent cast in situ precast concrete structural systems and the development of non-equivalent cast in situ precast concrete structure systems, Southeast University and Harbin Institute of Technology have conducted extensive research and proposed several new types of precast concrete structural systems. Their findings in this regard can promote the development of basic theories and technologies for building industrialization, accelerate the advancement of China's building industrialization, promote the application of precast building technology, and realize the concept of green building.

Prof. Gang Wu obtained his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Southeast University of China and then been to Ibaraki University, Japan, to finish postdoc training. He began his academic career in 2003 as an associate professor at the same university and then as a visiting scholar at North Carolina State University, USA. He was subsequently promoted to a full professor (2008), the dean of the School of Civil Engineering (2009), and the vice-chancellor of Southeast University (2016). His major research interests include infrastructure smart management and maintenance, building industrialization, and intelligent construction. He has published over 200 SCI-indexed journal papers. The research outcomes of his work have been adopted in 6 Chinese national standards and technical guidelines. Furthermore, he has authorized 65 national invention patents and 3 international invention patents. Prof. Wu has received several important national awards including the Young and Middle-Aged Leading Science and Technology Innovation Talents Awards of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China (2014).
Prof. De-Cheng Feng is an associate professor at the School of Civil Engineering, Southeast University. He received his B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Southeast University (2010) and his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Tongji University (2016). He has been a visiting scholar at Lehigh University (2014-2015) and the University of California, Los Angeles (2019-2020). His research interests chiefly include: 1) multi-fidelity damage and failure modeling approach for complex structures; 2) probabilistic performance assessment of structures with different sources of uncertainty; and 3) machine learning-aided deterministic/stochastic computational methods. He has published more than 90 SCI-indexed scientific papers. Prof. Feng has received several important awards including the Science and Technology Progress Award of Shanghai (First Prize, 2019), the Zhi Shan Scholar ofSoutheast University Award (2019), and the Young Researchers Award, ECCOMAS Thematic Conference (2019).
Prof. Chun-Lin Wang holds a B.S. (2002), M.S. (2005), and Ph.D. (2009) in Structural Engineering from Southeast University (SEU), China. He has been on the faculty of the School of Civil Engineering at the same university since 2009. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a project researcher at Meijo University, Japan. He was subsequently promoted to associate professor in December 2014. Wang currently teaches courses in structural mechanics. His research interests include new precast concrete structure systems, new high-rise building structures, and replaceable energy-dissipating structural components. Conducting research supported by the Natural Science Foundation of China, he has published more than 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
