A graduate of Durham University, which he represented on University Challenge, he is passionate about the local history of his city, anthropology and archaeology. Having travelled extensively, during which time he worked as a translator and interpreter at the British Embassy in Moscow, Ben is now a full time writer. This is his first title for The History Press.
