James Philip Arbuckle is a serial entrepreneur, startup investor, philanthropist, music producer, and podcast host who has founded and built multiple multimillion-dollar businesses over the past two decades. He is the founder and chairman of Heavy Hitter Holdings.However, James is no ordinary entrepreneur. Raised in a working-class neighborhood in Downriver, Michigan, James grew up with a natural street hustle and an aggressive outlook on business and life. That hustle gave James the opportunity to escape the streets and break the generational patterns that often keep many from achieving great levels of success. Grit, combined with hard work, and a relentless desire to learn would end up becoming the perfect cocktail to remedy the humble beginnings of his life.While still in his teens, James's ambition led him to start several companies selling a variety of goods and services. An avid reader, James spent hours and hours in the local bookstore, flipping through book after book as he honed his business acumen. Through these books, James explored a world far wider than his Downriver roots. Ever ambitious, James became one of the youngest recipients of the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification in the state of Michigan. This achievement served as the launchpad for a successful career in technology and setting up the path to launch new endeavors. Today, James's holdings organization, Heavy Hitter Holdings, is home to more than a dozen brands spanning recruiting and executive search, market research, human capital consulting, digital marketing, CPG products, music, digital media and publishing, and startup investing. James's future books include the non-fiction titles: Headwind: Navigating Life In Your 20's & 30's, and Second Act: A Middle-Aged Man's Guide To Reclaiming Life And Finding Happiness. He is also working on his first two fiction titles: The Fence, a story about crime and life in the Southwest Detroit area, and Bay Harbor Harem, a murder mystery story taking place in northern Michigan.
