Beschreibung
"Described by Yoko Ono as 'ahead of its time,' John Lennon's Mind Games has been a cult classic ever since its first release on 29 October 1973. This beautiful and insightful volume tells the inside story of the creation, recording, and release of this of this landmark album and charts an exciting period of transformation and experimentation for Lennon and Ono. With Nixon and Hoover were attempting to have John deported and the popular press turning against them both, 1973 proved an exceptionally turbulent time for the radical duo. Pore over these sumptuous pages and join them as they re-embrace mysticism and magical thinking and as they campaign for peaceful protest to end the war in Vietnam and for equal rights for women."
