Beschreibung
A book about consciousness-without mysticism and without reduction.

This work presents the human being as a living regulatory system: biologically grounded, capable of experience, and socially embedded. It develops a biopsychosocial model of consciousness that brings together biological regulation, experience-based meaning, and social co-regulation within a single theoretical framework.

It explains why consciousness can remain stable and why it can fracture. And it shows under which real conditions stability can emerge again.

Scientifically grounded, theoretically coherent, and humanly serious, this book offers a distinct systems theory of human consciousness one that is mechanistic without being reductionist, and clinically and socially relevant without losing sight of the lived human being.

ACADEMIC POSITIONING

This work develops a mechanistic biopsychosocial model of consciousness that conceptualizes consciousness as the regulatory system state of a living organism in a social world. It integrates biological allostasis, experience-based meaning formation, and social co-regulation into a coherent theoretical structure. The model is scientifically testable, clinically applicable, socially relevant, and ethically responsible a distinct, cohesive systems theory of human consciousness.
