Jan DeBlieu first became interested in ecology and conservation while attending the University of Delaware. During the past 20 years, her articles have appeared in newspapers and magazines across the country. In the course of her work she has traveled extensively across North America and has spent time with wildlife biologist in the United States, Central America, and the Caribbean.
