Über den Autor

Thomas Thiemeyer, geboren 1963, studierte Geologie und Geographie, ehe er sich selbständig machte und eine Laufbahn als Autor und Illustrator einschlug. Mit seinen Wissenschaftsthrillern und Jugendbuchzyklen, die etliche Preise gewannen, sich eine Million Mal verkauften und in dreizehn Sprachen übersetzt wurden, ist er mittlerweile eine feste Größe in der deutschen Unterhaltungsliteratur. Seine Geschichten stehen in der Tradition klassischer Abenteuerromane und handeln des öfteren von der Entdeckung versunkener Kulturen und der Bedrohung durch mysteriöse Mächte. Der Autor lebt mit seiner Familie in Stuttgart.
