In the future, wind tunnel may be required to achieve multiple mission objectives in a single platform. To enable this capability the concept of 360 degree rotatable test section wind tunnel variable geometry has been proposed as a means to extend the capability of current Low Reynolds number air vehicle platforms. This requires the development of seamless structure/aerodynamic structures that can undergo large scale changes in low Reynolds number wind tunnel geometry. The above discussion on wind tunnel has generated lot of interest in wind tunnel weight, geometry, complexity, structure, and aerodynamic performance etc.
