Über den Autor

Irving Chernev (1900-1981) was a prolific and highly regarded writer on chess. A strong player in his own right, he had a unique gift for explaining the game in a lucid, accessible and entertaining way. Chernev is the author of over 20 books on chess, Logical Chess Move By Move being his most famous work. He also wrote the bestselling Invitation to Chess and The Most Instructive Games of Chess Ever Played.
