Orcas like sharks, have been treated like blood-thirsty monsters and called killer whales. They've been hunted, massacred and captured for marine amusement parks to entertain the crowds. But really who are these intelligent giants? What is the true story of the orca in the film "Free Willy"?
Jean-Michel Cousteau and Dominique Serafini invite you, through this graphic novel to discover the true story of the orca Willy. Follow Jean-Michel from the Mediterranean Sea to Papua New Guinea and from Iceland to New Zealand where the Ocean Futures Society team meets Ingrid, a local biologist, saving a stranded female orca and returning her to the freedom of the sea.
For over 40 years, Jean-Michel Cousteau, explorer, environmentalist, educator and film producer, has dedicated his life to communicating his passion and concern for our water planet to the widest audience.
