Beschreibung

This book presents the latest advances in modeling, analysis, and effective information flow management in the Internet of Things (IoT) applications to the context of 5G and beyond technologies. 5G networks are expected to significantly expand today's IoT capabilities, improve cellular agility, IoT security, solve network problems and push the Internet of the future to the forefront. This book reviews the current state of 5G IoT research, key technologies, and key trends and challenges in 5G IoT. In addition, the book explains new architectural approaches to M2M/IoT and presents new frameworks offered by 5G and beyond networks, including middleware requirements, quality of service (QoS), radio resource scheduling, node virtualization, network slicing, ultra-low latency, and placement of M2M gateway. Providing researchers and professionals with a timely overview of new mobile communications systems, as well as highlighting major pitfalls and potential solutions with the growing M2M/IoT traffic. The book will contribute to the further development of the IoT paradigm based on 5G and beyond networks.
