Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) war ein deutscher Komponist des Barock. Er gilt heute als einer der größten Tonschöpfer aller Zeiten, der die spätere Musik wesentlich beeinflusst hat und dessen Werke im Original und in zahllosen Bearbeitungen weltweit präsent sind.
