Madrean Schober, PhD, MSN, ANP, FAANP, FAAN est une infirmière praticienne, professeure, mentor, écrivaine, conférencière et consultante spécialisée dans le développement de l'exercice infirmier en pratique avancée, la politique des soins de santé, la conception de programmes d'études et l'élaboration de programmes. Depuis 15 ans, elle est consultante internationale, ancienne présidente du Réseau international des infirmières praticiennes et des infirmières de pratique avancée du CII et chargée de la liaison avec les relations internationales pour l'American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (Académie américaine des infirmières praticiennes).

Forte d'une formation en santé familiale, en soins infirmiers familiaux et en soins de santé communautaires, elle a pour objectif de contribuer aux initiatives visant à fournir des services de santé à des populations diverses et de planifier stratégiquement l'amélioration de l'accès aux soins. Ces services comprennent la promotion de la pratique avancée infirmière dans l'offre de soins de santé.
