ADOLFO BIOY CASARES (Buenos Aires, 1914-1999) fue uno de los escritores argentinos más importantes del siglo XX. Gran renovador del género fantástico, destacó por La invención de Morel y El sueño de los héroes. En 1991 recibió el Premio Cervantes.
