Beschreibung
A novel which brings the Dark Ages into the light. Set in Britain in the 7th century, it follows Hild, the niece of Edwin, King of Northumberland, who wants to be king of all the Angles. Hild's intelligence means that she's good at making predictions, but the stakes are life and death. Drawn from the story of St Hilda of Whitby. 'Vivid, vital, and visceral, Hild's history reads like a thriller' Val McDermid *Also appeared in July Buyer's Notes*
