Andy Burnham is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Labour MP for Makerfield. Steve Rotheram has been the Mayor for the Liverpool City Region since 2017.
Andy was previously the Mayor of Greater Manchester from 2017-2026, Labour MP for Leigh from 2001-2017 and served as the Culture Secretary and then the Health Secretary in Gordon Brown's cabinet. Steve was previously Labour MP for Liverpool Walton from 2010-2017 and served as the Parliamentary Private Secretary to Jeremy Corbyn from 2015-2017.
