In this tale, HATTIE, a nine-year-old who's recently moved to Wembley, London will discover the importance of friendship and integrity.

After leaving her home and her best friend behind in Islington, HATTIE finds herself heartbroken and lonely. One day, while wandering her new house, she unearths the hidden GALAXY GARDEN. Within, Hattie discovers the GALAXIERS, a group of talking animals seeking refuge until they are reunited with their missing family members. She befriends them and is unexpectedly crowned Queen with the all-powerful HALO. It helps to protect their haven and reunite the GALAXIERS with their loved ones but does she want this responsibility?

Meanwhile, the dastardly scientist GARTOID MANDERBLYTHEN who created the HALO, has developed a menacing plot against the GALAXIERS. Along with his team, the BLYTHENERS, he executes his ploy to expose the animals and reclaim the HALO for himself! If only the party addict MISSIE MOUSE would stop hosting MICE BANQUETS, they might be able to escape discovery!

HATTIE must face her own moral compass - will she stand by her word and don the HALO to save her new friends or betray them, seizing the chance to return to her old life?
