Beschreibung
The Cosmic Ice Theory (Welteislehre) is a cosmological concept elaborated in 1894 by Austrian engineer Hanns Hörbiger. It stipulates that ice constitutes the basic element of all universal processes. From this premise follows a totalizing worldview that defines the past and future of the universe. Glazial-Kosmogonie explores the Cosmic Ice Theory through photography, drawing, collage and sculpture combined with archival documents extracted from books written by proponents of the theory.
With essays by Geoffrey Wildanger and Christina Wessely
