Douglas T. McGetchin is Associate Professor of History at Florida Atlantic University, USA where he studies transnational connections between Modern Germany and South Asia. His publications include
Indology, Indomania, and Orientalism
(2009) and several edited volumes (2004, 2014) on German-Indian connections. He is a recipient of Nehru-Fulbright and German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) grants.
