Traveling faster than the speed of light is a staple of space travel in science fiction. Whether it's jumping to hyperspace, engaging the warp drive, or opening a stargate, most stories about interstellar travel propose some hack to get from point A to point B faster than light. Mario J Pinheiro is a professor at University of Lisbon (IST). His main scientific interests are Electromagnetic Propulsion and Fundamentals of Physics. Takaaki Musha is a director of Advanced Science-Technology Research Organization. Formerly he was a senior research scientist of Technical Research & Development Institute of MoD, Japan.
