Beschreibung

The theory of the Five Transformations offers a unique approach to a holistic understanding of a client's life situation and indicates how to approach treatments. For this reason the theory is often an integral part of training in Shiatsu, acupuncture and body therapies.
This book offers a comprehensive introduction to the theory of the Five Elements, with particular focus on how the elements manifest in the body and mind. Detailed diagrams explain where in the body each element reveals itself to the bodyworker.

Über den Autor

Wilfried Rappenecker, born 1950, is one of the most distinguished Shiatsu therapists in Europe, Education in Shiatsu with Wataru Ohashi (1981/84) and Saul Goodman (1986/87). Further important teachers were Pauline Sasaki and Hugh Milne (cranio sacral osteopathy). 1987 foundation of the School for Shiatsu in Hamburg, Germany; director of the International School of Shiatsu (ISS) Kiental as well as director of the European Shiatsu Conferences Kiental 2004, 2007 and 2011. As a doctor of medicine he mostly works with Shiatsu.al, Mitbegründer der Gesellschaft für Shiatsu in Deutschland (GSD) gilt er als einer der profiliertesten europäischen Vertreter professioneller Shiatsu-Therapie.
