Get out then sort it out.

You are living with an abusive spouse. It's time to stop tolerating the abuse. It's time to protect yourself and your children. Your abuser will have a chance to change and win you back, but only after you are safely away from him.

Dr. David Clarke is a licensed psychologist specializing in marital therapy for more than 30 years, and has practical advice and biblical guidance for separating so you can give your marriage a chance to succeed. You can stop saying, "He'll change. It's not that bad. What will people think? I have no place else to go," and start taking realistic steps to emotional, financial, and spiritual health.

Part 1: The Definition of Abuse
Part 2: Why You Stay
Part 3: Why You Can Get Out
Part 4: How to Get Out
Part 5: Give Your Abuser a Chance
Part 6: When Your Abuser Does Not Want to Change
