Beschreibung
Mary Ziegler offers a new understanding of the slow drift to extremes in American politics. She traces how the pro-life movement's campaign to criminalize abortion and deregulate campaign spending gutted the Republican establishment, fueled the rise of rightwing populism, and changed the meaning of conservatism in the United States.
