PETERBRUKNER OAMMBBS, DSc(honoris causa), FACSEP, FSMA, FACSM, FFSEM (Ireland), FFSEM (UK) PeterBrukner is a Sport and Exercise Physician and Professor of Sports Medicine atLa Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. He was the founding partner of theOlympic Park Sports Medicine Centre and a President of the Australasian Collegeof Sport and Exercise Physicians. Peter has served as Australian team doctor atthe Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup. He was Head of Sports Medicine and SportsScience at Liverpool Football Club before spending 5 years as the Australiancricket team doctor. Peter hasbeen awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (2006) and the 2025 VIC SeniorAustralian of the Year.
