Über den Autor

Sophie Cairns was a journalist for seven years, first with the 'South China Morning Post' in Hong Kong, then with Reuters in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Paris. She began mountain climbing following the death of her father in 2008, and in 2013-2014, she attempted the highest volcano on each continent. She was born in Hong Kong, and was diagnosed with severe asthma at the age of three.
