New York Times Bestseller
From Paulo Coelho, the beloved author of The Alchemist, comes a luminous and mystical novel about the search for magic, meaning, and the other half of one's soul.
Brida follows a young Irish woman consumed by a hunger she cannot name — a longing for something deeper than ordinary life can offer.
Seeking answers, she finds two enigmatic teachers: the Magus, a solitary wise man at the edge of a forest, and Wicca, a powerful practitioner who initiates her into ancient spiritual traditions. As Brida's gifts awaken, she must also navigate the pull of two very different loves — and reckon with the possibility that becoming who she is meant to be will require choices that cannot be undone.
A quietly haunting and ultimately inspiring story, Brida reveals the secrets connecting vocation, desire, and the lifetimes it takes to finally become whole.
