Bryan Sykes, the world's first genetic archaeologist, explores the roots of Britain and Ireland, to reveal how our tribal history still colours the country today. In a major research programme, he tested the DNA of over 10,000 volunteers, and often found that the genetic evidence told a different story to conventional accounts. Has sold 12,000 copies in hardback and trade paperback.
