What if the biggest prison had no walls or bars... but invisible scripts housed in our reflexes, our emotions and our beliefs?
In Awakening the Human Robot, Dr. Mario Beauregard explores how the fear, repetition, and beliefs created by the Matrix can turn the human being into "programs": a system that obeys, reacts, conforms-often without even realizing it. Through a lucid mapping of the great conditioning forces of the Matrix (religion, politics, school, debt, media, transhumanism, commercialized spirituality, climatic narratives), this book highlights the architecture of modern enslavement.
But the book does not stop at the diagnosis. Its second part is an exit ramp: conscious disobedience, rupture with economic slavery, tools of deprogramming, reconquest of the divine inner, refoundation of education, and passage to action - without waiting for permission.
The author also introduces Holosynthesis(c), a psychospiritual approach thought as an art of deconditioning: reweaving what has been fragmented, restoring coherence between body, mind and deeper dimensions of being.
What the reader will learn (and apply):Recognize his automations (fear, beliefs, tribal reflexes) and see where the "programs" of the Matrix decide in its place
Practice digital hygiene (informational fasting, slowing down, conscious choice of sources) to resume attention
Develop critical literacy and metacognitive vigilance in the face of narratives, platforms and indicators that guide perception
Anchor in contemplative and somatic practices (presence, breathing, incarnate attention) to interrupt the curls of fear
Learn the power of no and the creation of a new world through concrete gestures, here and now
Awakening the Human Robot is for those who feel the flaw - and who refuse to replace one ideology with another. A book-manifesto, powerful and poetic, rebellious and revolutionary, which is also a manual of inner liberation.

Über den Autor
Dr. Mario Beauregard, Ph.D., is a Canadian neuroscientist and author, originally from Quebec, internationally recognized for his work exploring the interplay between the brain, consciousness, spiritual experience, and the nature of reality. Trained at the University of Montreal, he also conducted research at the University of Texas (in Houston) and at the University of Arizona (in Tucson). Throughout his career, he has sought to move beyond the limits of conventional science in order to better understand the full spectrum of human experience, including expanded and transformative states of [...] early scientific research focused on the neural mechanisms underlying emotion regulation. This line of inquiry gradually led him into a more adventurous field: the neurobiology of mystical and transcendent states. One of his most noted contributions is a neuroimaging study conducted with Carmelite nuns experiencing a mystical union with God. It represents one of the first rigorous neuroscientific investigations into the brain signatures of profound spiritual experience.Recognized as one of the "One Hundred Pioneers of the 21st Century" by World Media Net and USA Book News, Dr. Beauregard has also received several scientific distinctions throughout his career. His expertise has earned him invitations to major international venues, including an address at the United Nations in New York in 2007 and a public dialogue with the Dalai Lama in Melbourne, Australia, in 2013 on the emergence of a new science of consciousness.Considered a leading figure in the movement for post-materialist science, he is a co-author of the Manifesto for a Post-Materialist Science, a document that has brought together an international community of researchers and thinkers committed to a more open and integrative scientific worldview. This perspective views consciousness not as a mere byproduct of the brain but as a fundamental dimension of [...]. Beauregard is the author of several influential books, including The Spiritual Brain, Brain Wars, and Expanding Reality. His work on expanded states of consciousness and transcendent experiences has been widely featured in scientific journals, international media such as Time, Newsweek, and The Huffington Post, as well as in numerous documentaries and conferences around the world.Through his research, writing, and public engagements, he invites audiences to revisit some of the oldest and most fundamental questions of human existence: What is consciousness? What is the nature of reality? How far does the potential of the human mind truly extend? He is also the creator of the psychospiritual approach known as Holosynthesis(c), designed to help individuals realize the Great Self by integrating and harmonizing the various dimensions of human experience. This approach, like his scientific work, reflects a unified and deeply humanistic vision of the evolution of [...] 2025, Dr. Beauregard founded the Institut Mario Beauregard (IMB) in Switzerland. The mission of the IMB is to support the emergence of an expanded consciousness by offering tools that enhance well-being, optimize mental capacities, and open access to deeper layers of the [...] forthcoming book, Awakening the Human Robot: Dismantling the Empire of Fear, Belief, and Control, is a powerful, rebellious, and truly revolutionary work. Bringing together themes he has explored for decades, it offers a penetrating critique of the psychological, social, and cultural forces that shape human perception. The book also provides a clear path toward reclaiming mastery of one's mind and rediscovering genuine inner freedom.
