Access to the health-care system is difficult for people with autism spectrum disturbances as a result of many obstacles. Medical care for many of those affected and their health situation are therefore inadequate. This book provides helpful ideas on how to make collaboration successful for everyone involved. Über den Autor

Dr. Christine Preißmann ist Ärztin für Allgemeinmedizin und Psychotherapie sowie selbst Asperger-Autistin. Sie ist Autorin mehrerer Bücher (u.a. Psychotherapie und Beratung bei Menschen mit Asperger-Syndrom, 3. Aufl. 2013, Glück und Lebenszufriedenheit für Menschen mit Autismus, 2015) und hält regelmäßig Vorträge auf Kongressen und Fachveranstaltungen. Sie verfügt über Kontakte zu Fachleuten für die Behandlung von Autismus, zu Vorstandmitgliedern der entsprechenden Fachverbände und zu Selbsthilfegruppen für Betroffene und Angehörige.
