I have attempted to give equal weight to the three fundamental aspects of the study of Artemisinin chemistry. The key features of this book are: Focuses on core knowledge and provides key concepts, facts and materials regarding Artemisin chemistry and their mechanisms. Enables the reader to grasp and understand the Artemisinin chemistry very quickly and easily. Several important concepts and cross-referencing in this book are put in the last part. This provides a unifying treatment. The material is selected and presented keeping in mind the needs of today¿s medicinal chemistry research students.

Dr. Bishwajit Saikia earned his PhD in Organic Chemistry from Natural Products Chemistry Division,CSIR-North East Institute of Science & Technology, under Dibrugarh University, Assam, INDIA. He is currently working as an Asst. Professor Dept. of Chemistry, Dibrugarh University. His research interests in total synthesis of bioactive natural products
