My intention was to get better.
To understand the WHYs.
Understanding them not only intellectually
more so, emotionally.

My intention was to find a more pleasant way to deal with life.
To embody the HOWs.
To experience first hand
the joy that life supposedly has to offer.

I just wanted to feel free and
to be satisfied with the decisions I made.

I just wanted to be at peace and
to be in balance with the way I was living.

And ultimately, to be happy
with myself and the life that had me in it.

Über den Autor

Driven by the wanting to understand the human mind and the human behavior, Philipp Fontão da Silva Vida studied Psychology briefly before he switched to Sociology and Gender Studies, for both he received his degree. After working different jobs, reaching from salad bar employee to Interior Designer, nothing really seemed to satisfy him. The personal, creative outlet was missing and after moving to Vienna, right before the pandemic, this missing link of a creative outlet found itself in writing. With Anything Dear being his debut, he realized that the wanting to understand people`s minds and people`s behaviors started with studying himself, his past and his emotions.
