Über den Autor
Lucy Maud Montgomery (1874-1942) was a Canadian novelist and short story writer whose work has been translated into numerous languages and remains widely read throughout the world. Born in Prince Edward Island, she drew deeply on its landscapes and communities for inspiration. While Anne of Green Gables brought her international recognition, Montgomery published hundreds of short stories and numerous novels over the course of her career. Her fiction is distinguished by its emotional intelligence, lyrical description, and enduring appeal across generations.
