Beschreibung
Shortlsted for the Booker Prize, ANIMAL'S PEOPLE is compellingly honest, entertaining and entirely without self-pity. Animal takes us into his dark world of slums, scams and poverty. Yet this is a tale with flashes of pure joy and brilliance - from the very first page to the story's explosive ending. ANIMAL'S PEOPLE is a stunningly humane work of storytelling that takes us to the heart of contemporary India.
