DR MONIKA PARKINSON is a clinical psychologist and child mental health expert who has worked clinically with children, young people and families at the University of Reading, for the NHS, and in her Berkshire private practice. She has contributed to large treatment research trials and regularly provides teaching, supervision and training.

She is also past President of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP) and has recently co-edited the 3rd edition of CBT for Children and Families.

Dr Monika Parkinson works clinically with children, young people and families at the University of Reading and for the NHS, as well as in private practice. She has been involved in several large treatment research trials aimed at investigating enhanced outcomes for child mental health problems. These roles have involved direct clinical work with families, supervision of mental health practitioners and providing teaching and training to varied audiences.
