Über den Autor

Ann Gravells has been working in the Lifelong Learning Sector since 1983 and is currently teaching at Bishop Burton College in East Yorkshire. She has her own educational training consultancy Ann Gravells Ltd which specialises in teaching, training and quality assurance. Anns book Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) became a bestseller and is now in its 5th Edition. Ann has since written and co-written several other textbooks. Ann is a Fellow of the Institute for Learning, holds Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status and is a Licentiate of City & Guilds. Ann achieved a Medal of Excellence for Teaching at Bishop Burton College in 2007. This medal was presented to Ann by Ed Balls. One of her students was the first in England to achieve the PTLLS Award. Ann has co-written the International teaching qualifications for City & Guilds, and delivered events in Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
