Beschreibung
In About Time, the whole of Doctor Who is examined through the lens of the real-world social and political changes as well as ongoing developments in television production that influenced the series in ways big and small over the course of a generation. Armed with these guidebooks, readers will be able to cast their minds back to 1975, 1982, 2005, and other years to best appreciate the series' content and character. The Second Edition of About Time 4 greatly expands upon the commentary and essays offered on Doctor Who Seasons 12 to 14: some of the most beloved material ever, starring the iconic Tom Baker as the fourth Doctor. Essays in this volume include: "Has the Time War Started?", "What were the Cybermen's Daftest 'Only' Weaknesses?", and "Mary Whitehouse: What was Her Problem?"

Über den Autor
Tat Wood wrote some of what you've just read in a tent while braving plague, wildfire, tornadoes, bison, and riots to explore some of the rest of North America in 2020. Believe it or not, this was safer than staying put on the New England coast. While he was delighted to discover how much tent technology has improved since he was in the Scouts, the experience brought back memories of an early form of FOMO when he discovered that everyone else was watching an omnibus repeat of "The Ark in Space" while he was wading through slime in Keswick. Lars Pearson has served as publisher and editor-in-chief of Mad Norwegian Press for (gulp) more than 20 years now. A former staff member at Wizard magazine, he now sagely comments on comic books on the Near Mint Condition channel on YouTube. The older he gets, the more he realizes that kindness begets kindness, and cruelty begets cruelty.
