Meslet's work is much more than merely imaginary iconographic documentation. It is an attempt to reconcile the future and the past, a meditation on the fragility of collective memory. As a hunter of ephemeral moments, his generative art images reveal the duality of time, the coexistence of decay and splendour. With his keen eye, he has taken on the guise of a poet of decrepitude, capturing the soul of neglect, turning each image into a silent cry in the desert of contemporary indifference.

Francis Meslet a 1986 graduate of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Nancy, Francis Meslet worked as a designer before moving into Communications and joining the circuit of advertising agencies as Artistic Director. After spending 35 years tweaking the creative concept and autopsying decay in images, he is now Creative Director.
Author, photographer, and passionate about heritage, architecture, and urban landscapes, Francis has travelled the world in his spare time, looking for abandoned places - shrines where time has stood still. He has brought back with him striking images, time capsules that pay tribute to a parallel universe ripe for reflection, setting the mind free to wander.
